Grassroots First Kofi Adu Outlines Base Ghana First Movement’s Strategy.

In an interview on Angel breaking news with host Ali Baba, Kofi Adu A.K.A AGya Koo , clarified the direction and independence of the Base Ghana First movement.

He explained that businessman and politician Kennedy Agyapong has neither officially distanced himself from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) nor declared any involvement with the Base Ghana First Movement .

According to him, the movement is being driven solely by its core organizers, and Agyapong is not currently part of their activities.

Adu emphasized that the group has not positioned Agyapong as either a member or a non-member.

Instead, their focus is on building a strong grassroots foundation across all 16 regions of Ghana. Once that structure is fully established, he said, members will democratically select a leader to guide the movement.

He contrasted their approach with that of many political parties that struggle due to weak grassroots engagement.

By prioritizing direct interaction with ordinary citizens especially through outreach in markets and communities the movement has reportedly seen significant public interest and growing support.
