Weija-Gbawe Flood Update From The Estuary.

Some youths from Kokrobite are reportedly preventing the second opening of the trench at the estuary despite ongoing flooding in nearby communities.

Officials from NADMO are currently engaging them to allow the excavator machine to continue the cutting of the second trench to help ease the floodwaters.

Residents are worried as flood levels continue to rise, while efforts to create another outlet for the water are being delayed.
