Missing Man Found Unconscious And Severely Injured After Three Days Of Disappearance.

Residents of Assin Kushia in the Assin North District of the Central Region have been thrown into a state of shock following the discovery of a 61-year-old man who had been missing for three days, unconscious and with multiple injuries in a nearby bush.

The victim, identified as Christian Etse Dosey, a palm wine tapper and traditional healer, is married to three wives and has 19 children.

According to family members, Mr. Dosey went missing on June 10, 2026, after informing them that he was going to deliver herbal medicine to a client undergoing treatment.

However, he failed to return home, prompting concern among relatives and residents.

Following his disappearance, traditional authorities in the area organized a search party and performed traditional rites, accompanied by drumming, to aid efforts to locate him.

After three days of intensive search, Mr. Dosey was found lying unconscious in a bush with multiple injuries all over his body, including wounds to the neck, a fractured arm, and other injuries suspected to have been inflicted by unknown assailants.

He was initially rushed to a clinic at Assin Kushia but was later referred to the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu, where he is currently receiving treatment.

Speaking to Rich FM News, the victim’s brother, Daniel Dosey, said the family suspects foul play and called for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Meanwhile, some relatives and eyewitnesses have appealed to the police to conduct comprehensive investigations into the matter and bring those responsible to justice.
