Bantama NPP Chairman And 1st Vice Chairman Invited By Police After Alleged Fight Over Album Irregularities.

Tension has rocked the Bantama Constituency of the New Patriotic Party following an alleged physical confrontation between the Constituency Chairman and the 1st Vice Chairman over irregularities in the party’s delegates album.
The incident, which occurred at the constituency office, saw the Constituency Chairman, Fiffi, and the 1st Vice Chairman, Kingsley Atta, exchange blows.
The altercation led to both men being invited by the Sofoline Police for questioning.
It is alleged that the Member of Parliament for Bantama, Hon. Francis Asenso Boakye, supported the 1st Vice Chairman to remove some delegates from the constituency album, a move that reportedly sparked the confrontation.
Currently, the Bantama Constituency is under pressure as NPP members engage in heated arguments over the development. Some party faithful have expressed worry that the dispute could deepen cracks within the constituency ahead of key internal party activities.
Police at Sofoline have confirmed that both executives were invited to assist with investigations, and have urged calm among party supporters while the matter is being addressed.
Party members are calling on the regional and national executives of the NPP to intervene swiftly to resolve the impasse and restore unity in the Bantama Constituency.
