Techiman South MP Commissions Mechanized Borehole To End Water Challenges At Konkomba Line.

Residents of Konkomba Line, a small farming community at Tanoso in the Techiman South Municipality, now have access to clean and safe drinking water following the commissioning of a mechanized borehole by the Member of Parliament for Techiman South, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah.

The project, expected to benefit the entire community, forms part of the MP’s efforts to improve access to potable water and address the basic needs of underserved communities across the constituency

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah explained that the community, which has a population of fewer than 100 people, had lived for years without access to safe drinking water and had relied on an unhealthy water source that exposed residents to various health risks.

The Dikro of Konkomba Line, Nana Abuba, expressed profound appreciation to the Member of Parliament for responding to one of the community’s most pressing needs, describing the borehole as a life-changing intervention that has brought an end to years of dependence on unsafe drinking water.

End.
