Traditional Rulers Cry For Development As Lands Are Reserved For Schools, Market, Hospitals But Neglected By Govt.

The Chief of Topiase No.2 in the Awutu Senya West District of the Central Region, Barima Kwesi Kwarteng II, has appealed to the government to Provide them with developmental projects in their community as lands are reserved purposely for schools, markets, hospitals and other social amenities.
According to Traditional Ruler, both past and present governments have neglected Awutu Topiase in terms of development rendering the youth unemployed.
The Chief said if the government establishes projects in the community, it will help the community youth, and they will get their share of the national cake.
Barima Kwesi Kwarteng speaking in an interview with Angel news Opanyin Darko during the official installation of asafo companies, he further echoed that it’s about time the government consider the provision of development in the area.
Meanwhile, the Omankrado of Topiase No.2, Nana Kofi Bosompim, has also called on the newly installed Asafo companies to be good leaders in society and protect their lands.
