Ahodwo R/C Basic School In Dilapidated State Overrun By Wee Smokers

Ahodwo R/C Basic School in the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality of the Ashanti Region is facing significant challenges.
The school’s building is in a dilapidated state, with cracks, destroyed windows and doors, and a lack of toilet facilities.
Despite these issues, a previous government had built a complete classroom block, but it remains unfinished.
The poor state of the school’s infrastructure is affecting academic work, according to Mr. Tuffour Hayford, a PTA executive.
In an interview with Bismark Mensah, he expressed concern over the school’s condition and its impact on students.
The school’s situation is further complicated by the presence of weeds smokers, which adds to the overall neglect.
Efforts to address these issues can start with reaching out to local authorities.
The PTA Chairman Kwaku Boah also added that, the school is not safe because there is no fence wall in the school.
