Child Found Outside After 8pm To Face Detention- Cape Coast North Mp Warns

The Cape Coast North MP, Hon. Dr. Kwamena Minta-Nyarku, has announced a strict policy to detain children found outside unaccompanied after 8pm, with parents held responsible under the law.

According Mp, this is part of his efforts to reduce youth delinquency and drug abuse in the metropolis which he urged traditional leaders to invest resources into tackling youth drug abuse.

He made statement during the presentation of learning materials and streetlights to strengthen education and beef up security in the constituency

Mp, highlighted his ongoing community support, including providing chopboxes to 170 first-year SHS students,additionally, under his “Operation Light Up Cape Coast North Campaign,” local assembly members have received 150 streetlight bulbs to enhance public safety.

Parents and students have praised the MP’s initiatives and pledged to uphold the reputation of Cape Coast.
