Nkwanta South Mp Worried Over Low Enrollment In ShSs In Nkwanta

The member of Parliament for Nkwanta south and member of the public account committee, Hon. Geoffrey Kini  is worried over low enrollment of first year SHS students to the three SHSs in Nkwanta township, namely Nkwanta SHS, Nkwanta Community SHTS and Kyabobo Girls SHS.

According to him, the low enrollment is due to the conflict hence the need for all chiefs, opinion leaders, Religious leaders youth and the entire community to embrace peace.

He point out that, no parent would send his ward to war torn town for education where he or she may be hit by bullet.

He however said, the conflict was a mistake and the people have amend their ways therefore peace has been restored hence the need for people to have hope in Nkwanta of bouncing back.

He made these comments on the backdrop of very low enrollment in the SHSs in Nkwanta for the 2025/26 academic year.
