Atwima Nwabiagya South NDC Grassroots, Branch Executives Call For The Head Of MCE

The Grassroots and Branch executives of the NDC at Atwima Nwabiagya South are calling on the National, Regional and Constituency Executives to as matter of urgency take serious action concerning the deeds of the MCE, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah (Okumkɔm).

In a presser today, the NDC executives stated that, “over recent months, various reports and grievances have been brought to our notice that may undermine the integrity of our constituency, the principle of the NDC and the reset agenda of the president”.

They also alleged that the MCE is seriously involved in illegal mining (galamsey), adding that, most of the assembly’s DRIP machines have been hired to illegal miners in the areas like Nkonten, Amadum-Adankwame.

The executives buttressed their allegations by stating that, the MCE, Hon. Wisdom Osei Boamah has purchased over five different vehicles withing the few months he assumed office.

On behalf of the executives, Mohammed Iddrisu, who is the Deputy Communication Officer at Asakraka area, also complained bitterly about the intimidations, disrespect and divisive remarks to the party members from the MCE.

He therefore called for an impartial investigations, clarity and accountability. “We request that our concerns be urgently addressed within a week.

If no steps are taken, we will return to the media with further serious and damaging actions”.
