Cocoa Purchasing Clerk Dies In Deadly Motor Crash At Assin Aponsie

A tragic accident on Sunday evening has claimed the life of a cocoa purchasing clerk at Assin Aponsie in the Assin North District of the Central Region.

The incident occurred around 8 PM when the deceased, Philip Kofi Nsiah, reportedly veered off the road and crashed into a pavement at the Assin Aponsie parking lot while riding his red jungle motorbike from the Kumasi direction toward Assin Fosu.

His body was later discovered by passersby lying near the crash site. Eyewitnesses believe the accident may have happened shortly before the discovery.

The Assin Praso District Police Command has since conveyed the body to the mortuary for preservation and investigation.

Philip Kofi Nsiah was a cocoa purchasing clerk with Cargill Ghana at Assin Adiembra and a resident of Assin Dompim.

The exact destination he was heading to remained unknown.
