Malfunctioning streetlights along the Kasoa highway has caused a fatal road accident at Kasoa Broadcasting in the Weija-Gbawe Municipality, claiming one life and leaving another person in critical condition.

The accident involved a Nissan Urvan, a moving trailer, and a broken-down long trailer parked at the edge of the road.

Due to poor visibility, the minibus failed to notice the stationary trailer early, swerved, and crashed into the moving trailer.

This stretch has recorded several accidents in the past due to poor visibility and are calling on authorities to urgently fix the streetlights to prevent further loss of lives.
