Students Of New Papase Apostolic Basic School Cry For Help Over Dangerous School Structures.

Students of New Papase Apostolic Basic School in the Bia West District of the Western North Region are appealing to the government to urgently intervene as the school’s buildings continue to deteriorate.

In an interview, the students expressed deep concern about the poor state of their classrooms, explaining that parts of the structures have broken down and now pose serious danger to both pupils and teachers.

They described the situation as frightening and warned that the buildings have become a potential death trap if immediate action is not taken.

According to the students, the situation has discouraged some teachers, with many seeking transfers from the school.

They added that the dusty environment and weak structures make teaching and learning extremely difficult.

The students are, therefore, calling on the government and other stakeholders to urgently support the school by rehabilitating the damaged buildings and providing safer learning facilities.
