Pru East Mp, Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam Fulfils His Promise As He Commissioned The First Ever Tvet School At Yeji.

The people of Pru East District particularly the Artisans Artisan-Dreamed individuals clad in joy as the Pru East MP, Hon. Emmanuel Kwaku Boam fulfils his campaign promise by commissioning the first time ever Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) school called LORD BOAM SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING CENTER at Yeji established with his own finance and the support of his developing partners.
This initiative aims to equip students with practical skills, enhancing their employability and contributing to the local economy
Hon. Boam has consistently demonstrated his commitment to improving education in Pru East. He has previously presented computers to Yeji Senior High School, launched a quiz competition among schools, and rewarded outstanding teachers.
His focus on STEM education and vocational training seeks to bridge the skills gap and empower the youth
The TVET school is expected to provide hands-on training in various fields, aligning with the government’s efforts to boost TVET as the Government introduces State of Arts Education and to address youth unemployment.
This development reflects Hon. Boam’s dedication to improving education infrastructure and creating opportunities for his constituents.
The initial courses/program undertaking as the opens for admission are Catering, Fashion, Electronics and Electricals with each of the departments fully equipped with practical equipments. Under these programs, students will also undergo the Core subjects that is English, Maths and Science.
The school is fully accredited by the Ghana Education Service under the TVET act.
This means students will be Rewarded with an accredited professional certificate for the job market.
Speaking at the program. MP, Hon. Boam said his commitment to education for all irrespective of age, finance and other situational issues that can stop an individual from acquiring formal education.
He believes the TVET school will help the less privilege individuals to also learn from skills endowed.
The Bono East Regional Minister, Hon. Francis Owusu Antwi re-echoed Government decision to boost the TVET Education by establishing the State of Arts Facilities across the country.
He expressed gratitude to the President John Dramani Mahama for the establishment of Digital Engineering University at Oforikrom in Techiman.
The Minister entreated the people of Pru East to manage the LORD BOAM SKILLS DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING CENTER with care for it to benefit generations.
Director of TVET Bono East Region, Mr. Appiah Kubi advise the public to respect the knowledge of Artisans as it seems Artisan are unknowledgeably.
In conclusion, Pru East District in the Bono East Region opens admission for first batch of Lord Boam Skills Development and Training Center -Yeji.
