The Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Assembly has commissioned a newly completed 12-unit storey classroom block for the Methodist A&D Basic School in Twifo Praso as part of efforts to improve access to quality education in the district.
The commissioning ceremony was led by the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Hon. Isaac Yawson, together with the Member of Parliament for the constituency, Hon. Theophilus David Vondee, and the Central Regional Representative on the Council of State, Chairman Hakeem Addai.
The facility comprises 12 classrooms, 12 storerooms, and eight toilet facilities designed to create a conducive atmosphere for effective teaching and learning.

According to the DCE, President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government are committed to completing stalled and abandoned projects across the country to improve the living conditions of Ghanaians.
He noted that the completion of the classroom block forms part of the government’s broader agenda to strengthen educational infrastructure and enhance academic activities in the district.
The Member of Parliament for Twifo Atti-Morkwa, Hon. Theophilus David Vondee, appealed to teachers, students, parents, and community members to take proper care of the facility to ensure its longevity and continued benefit to future generations.
The commissioning ceremony attracted traditional leaders, education officials, assembly members, residents, and other stakeholders within the district.
