Government Urged To Fast -Track Road Projects In Ashaiman As Band Brings Relief To Market Women.

The Chief Executive Officer of Phil’s Sounds and Records, Mr. Philip Aboagye, has appealed to government to accelerate road infrastructure development in the Ashaiman Constituency to improve accessibility and living conditions for residents.
According to him, although work has commenced on the construction of drainage systems in parts of the constituency, many roads remain in poor condition, creating challenges for residents and traders, particularly during the rainy season.
*Mr. Aboagye* made the appeal during the first edition of the Phil’s Groove Band outreach programme at the Ashaiman Market, where musicians entertained traders and shoppers to good music in an effort to help them relax and ease the stress associated with their daily activities.
He explained that the initiative was designed to promote the well-being of market women by providing moments of recreation and relief from the pressures of work and economic hardship.
Mr. Aboagye noted that the programme, being the first of its kind in the Ashaiman Market, will be extended to other markets across the country.
He expressed optimism that the initiative would create a positive atmosphere for traders and contribute to their mental and emotional well-being.
Some of the market women who benefited from the entertainment programme expressed appreciation to Phil’s Groove Band for the thoughtful initiative, describing it as a welcome break from the stress of trading.
They also used the opportunity to call on government to expedite work on the proposed 24-hour market project promised for the area, saying its completion would significantly enhance their businesses and improve trading conditions.
