Ashaiman Police Arrest Suspects Over Robbery Attacks.

The Ashaiman District Police Command has arrested several suspects in connection with separate robbery incidents recorded within the municipality.
The arrests follow reports of attacks on residents, including the theft of mobile phones and the use of offensive weapons.
According to the police situational report, a 40-year-old woman, identified as Akosua Dwomor, was attacked at Kuffour Station on May 27, 2026, at about 8:20 pm.
The victim reported that two persons attacked her and made away with her smartphone.
A suspect, identified as Nii Adjei, was arrested and detained after he was brought to the station to assist investigations.
The District Commander, DSP Orlando Joseph Adzokpa, later led an operation to Nii Amui Park, where another suspect, Selasi, and three others were arrested.
Police say a search conducted at their room uncovered a cutlass, two knives, two pairs of scissors and an iPhone believed to be relevant to investigations.
Meanwhile, another robbery incident was reported along the Ashaiman-Underbridge road near the flower pots.
A 23-year-old man, Nobert Danquah, reported that he was attacked by a group of about 20 young men armed with cutlasses.
The attackers allegedly made away with his Redmi 11 Pro mobile phone valued at 1,600 Ghana cedis.
The victim, who sustained an injury to his left little finger, was issued a police medical form to seek treatment.
The Ashaiman District Police Command says investigations are ongoing, with efforts underway to identify and arrest other persons suspected to be involved in the attacks.
Police are also appealing to the public to provide credible information that could assist in bringing the suspects to justice.
