KMA Mayor Proposes First Friday OF Every Month For National Sanitation Day.The Mayor of kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Richard Ofori Agyemang has called on the government to designate the first Friday of every month as national Sanitation to ensure full participation by all institutions.

The Mayor made the appeal to the media on Friday after monitoring the cleanup exercises in parts of the kumasi metropolis.

Hon. Ofori Agyemang Boadi expressed Sanitation with the level of participation recorded during the two- day nationwide cleanup exercises declared by government for Friday and Saturday.

He said the turnout was encouraging, particularly in the wake of recent flooding in Accra, which underscore the need for sustained environmental cleanliness across the country.
