Kenyasi Adum Residents Appeal For Intervention Over Public Toilet.

Residents of Kenyasi Adum in the Asutifi North District of the Ahafo Region are appealing to the District Assembly to intervene over conditions at the community’s public toilet.

According to the residents, the strong stench emanating from the toilet is becoming a health concern and making life uncomfortable for people living in the area.

They are calling for measures to be put in place to reduce the bad smell and improve sanitation at the facility.

The residents also complain that there is currently no one taking care of the old toilet, resulting in the facility becoming untidy and unpleasant for users.

They explained that the community has two public toilets.

The newly constructed one is currently closed because the person responsible for managing it is reportedly sick, leaving the old facility as the only one available for use.

The residents are therefore appealing to the Asutifi North District Assembly to intervene by addressing the sanitation concerns and ensuring that the facility is properly maintained and managed.

End.
