A/R NPP Is The Root Cause Of Roman Fada’s Disqualification- Nana Poku Declares
The Special Aid to Roman Fada, the new flagbearer of Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Nana Poku, has accused the New Patriotic Party (NPP) of been the root cause of Roman Fada’s disqualification from the upcoming election by the electoral commission.
According to him, he was contacted by the leader and founder of United Front Party (UFP), Nana Agyenim BoatengUnited Front Party (UFP), Nana Agyenim Boateng, known as Gyataba and Mr. Kofi Akpaloo of Liberal Party to withdraw from the competition with a compensation of Gh5 billion from the Ashanti Regional NPP Chairman, Chairman Wontumi.
“I can not lie against someone without having any concrete evidence, as it was Gyataba and Kofi Akpaloo who called to inform me about Chairman Wontumi’s offer to Roman Fada,” he added.
“If we won’t take the money offered by Chairman Wontumi, some members of the party who are of no importance will take the money and declare their support if we fail to do so”, he stressed.
Nana Poku emphasised that it would be a disgrace to the party and disrespect to the late Akua Donkor if Roman Fada did such a thing, as the late Madam Akua Donkor saw something in him to name him her running mate.
“We believe NPP is the root cause of the party’s current situation,” he lamented.
In response to the accusation by Nana Poku against Gyataba, he said he saw Roman Fada as a brother and only added his voice to where the late Akua Donkor would be buried as he and Akua Donkor came from the same town.
Gyataba continues that he does not see anything wrong if Roman Fada takes the Gh5 billion and declares his support for the NPP as Dr. Bawumia is winning the elections, God willing December 7th.
