Stop Fulani Herdsmen From Encroaching Our Farmlands-Residents Of Asubuasu Pleading To Ghana Police

Residents of Asubuasu a farming community in the Sekyere Central District of Ashanti region embarked on peaceful demonstration against the illegal activities of Fulani herdsmen who are using their cattle to destroy their farm produces.
The aggrieved farmers, lamented over how these herdsmen have destroyed the only source of drinking water in the community which is making it difficult to get access to potable water for domestic use.
Speaking to newsmen during the demonstration, the leader of the aggrieved farmers, Mr George Dapaah,used the opportunity to appeal to Mampong regional Police command and IGP to intervene to release three of their colleague farmers from police custody who have been arrested upon the false charges levels against them by these Fulani herdsmen for killing their cattle which is never true.
He said, this has been one of the tactics they uses to intimidate them from fighting against their illegal activities in the community.
Some of the aggrieved farmers shared their worry situation about the intimidation of Fulani herdsmen for destroyed their large acres of farm with bush fire and their cattle.
