Concerned NDC Branch Executives Bare Teeth, Calls On President To Nominate William Agbelinyo As Upper West Akim DCE

A group calling itself Concerned NDC Branch Executives in Upper West Akim constituency of Eastern Region has called on the president John Dramani Mahama to nominate a competent candidate to occupy the Upper West Akim DCE position.

According to the Chairman for the group who doubles as the Assembly member for Nyanoa electoral area Hon. Jonathan Abbey the competent candidate amongst the three candidates shortlisted is Mr. William Agbelinyo who is fit to occupy the DCE position.

Mr. William Agbelinyo is a dedicated, selfless and staunch member of the NDC who has tremendously supported the party from Assembly members elections to General Elections, he hinted.

The group was speaking in an interview at a press conference to rebut false information being circulated on social media claiming Mr. William Agbelinyo is not a staunch member of the NDC.

In the said publication, a gentleman was heard saying Mr. William Agbelinyo doesn’t reside in the constituency also, he just joined the NDC two months before elections but after several checks it was established that the above information is fallacy and false.

We hereby call on Ghanaians to disregard the false information about Mr William Agbelinyo.

In addition, some of the group members also debunked the allegations noting that, it was a calculated attempt to tarnished the hard earned reputation of Mr William Agbelinyo.
