Police Intercept Truck With Gun And Hundreds Of Ammunition At Nkwanta. 

The Nkwanta divisional police command has intercepted a cargo truck with a brand new pump action gun and hundreds of ammunition this morning.

The said truck with registration number, GW 9927-13 was coming from Accra to Damanko in the Nkwanta north district in the Oti region.

According to the police, the ammunitions contained 7,000 pieces of AA cartridges and 3,000 pieces of BB cartridges including 1 brand new pump action gun.

The suspects are Richard Kpimbi 27 year old driver and Latif Adam, 20 year old mate who are currently in police custody at Nkwanta police station pending further investigation to apprehend the owner of the ammunitions.

The Nkwanta divisional police command has take charge of the truck and the ammunitions pending directive from the regional command.
