Ministry Of Education Should Feed BECE Candidates Henceforth— Minister Appeals.
The Central Regional Minister has appealed to the Ministry of Education to include feeding for BECE candidates henceforth to prevent them from eating food that may cause discomfort during the examination.
Touring some examination centres in the Central Region, the Central Regional Minister, Hon.Ekow Panyin Eduamoa Okyere, called on government and the School Feeding Secretariat to provide meals for candidates sitting the exams across the country.
He explained that some candidates feel unwell in the examination hall because of what they eat in the morning, with some even vomiting during the paper.
He therefore advised candidates to take their studies seriously and stay away from examination malpractices.
Some candidates also expressed excitement after writing the paper, saying it went well and that they expect to come out with flying colours.
They added that the examination was not as difficult as they had been made to believe.
