Deliver On Your Promise And Make The Kotoku Factory Operationalised.

Concern citizens of Adeiso are calling on NDC Government, M.P for Upper West Akyim constituency Hon Emmanuel Drah as well as DCE for the district Hon Rebecca Chissah as matter of urgency make Adeiso Kotoku factory operationalized so that the youth can get job to do.

During a press conference today at Adeiso, concern citizens of Adeiso led by Adeiso mmratehene Nana Ankamah said, the said factory which was built about 16 years ago fully furnished with equipment has left in the bush to rot without operations.

He added that most of the youth in Adeiso today have become Okada riders because they don’t have any proper job to do.

During 2024 Elections, current NDC M.P for Upper West Akyim constituency Hon Emmanuel Drah on his campaign platforms promised the people of Adeiso that when he becomes MP, he will make sure Adeiso Kotoku factory will be operationalized for the youth to get employment but two years down the line, the factory has left in the bush to rot.

They are calling on him to make sure the factory works so that the youth of the town can get work to do.

Vice Chairman for ConcernCitizenss of Adeiso Mr. Daniel Okyere also stated that another serious issue confronting Adeiso township is about demarcation on Adeiso land.

He said today when u used GPRS, then it tells u that Adeiso is in Greater Accra meanwhile all they know is Adeiso is in Eastern so therefore if u have a aland and u want to register your land, the GPRS will tell u the land is in Greater Accra so u have register the land in Accra.

They are calling on authorities in Adeiso to intervene and solve that issue else, a time will come, almost lands in Adeiso and Adeiso township will be classified as Greater Accra region, meanwhile it is in Eastern.
