NDC Youth Group In Jaman North Kicks Against Dabo’s Appoinment By The Sports Minister

NDC youth group in Sampa in the Jaman North District is kicking against the appointment of Yaw Dabo and is calling on the Sports Ministry to rescind the decision.

‎The NDC youth group is calling on both the President of Ghana and the Sports Ministry to terminate the appointment of Kumawood movie star and football administrator, Yaw Dabo, as Ghana’s Grassroots Football Ambassador.

‎Joshua Adu Kofi, leader of the group, says Yaw Dabo campaigned in the Bono Region against John Dramani Mahama and all their parliamentary candidates in the 2024 general elections, so they cannot support his appointment and want the President and the Sports Ministry to cancel the deal.

‎Some members say the appointment of Yaw Dabo will demoralize many party faithful who share similar sentiments and may affect the party’s chances in the future.

They add that, aside from Dabo, they support any other person appointed to the role.
