Headmaster Of Tepa-Kyekyewere M/A Basic School Appeals For Furniture Support.

The Headmaster of Tepa-Kyekyewere M/A Basic School, Mr. Micheal Acheampong, has appealed to the government, philanthropists, and other authorities to come to the aid of the school by providing adequate furniture for students.
According to him, many students in the school are struggling to get proper desks and chairs to sit on during lessons, a situation he said is negatively affecting teaching and learning.
Mr. Micheal Acheampong made the appeal during an open day ceremony organized by the school to raise funds for the renovation of damaged windows in the school classrooms.
He explained that the poor state of some of the school’s infrastructure continues to be a major challenge confronting both teachers and students, hence the need for urgent support from stakeholders and benevolent individuals.
During the same occasion, a philanthropist, Nana Baffour Awuah, who has consistently supported the school, commissioned and handed over a newly constructed kitchen facility to the school authorities.
He also donated exercise books to support the academic activities of the students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Nana Baffour Awuah explained that his motivation for supporting the school is to help improve education and create a better learning environment for the children in the community.
He further encouraged other individuals and organizations to also contribute towards the development of schools in rural communities to ensure quality education for every child.
End.
