Soga Korpe VRA Employees Provide Carrer Guidance For Sogakope Shs Students.

Employees of the Volta River Authority (VRA) have held a two-day career guidance programme for students of Sogakope Senior High School in the Volta Region.

The Volta River Authority (VRA) Employee Volunteer Programme (EVP) is a flagship initiative where staff dedicate time to teach, mentor, and provide career guidance to secondary school students.

The mentors took the students through tailored sessions which included Career Guidance, ICT Boot camp and classroom teachings all in a bid to help to contribute to the students’ future development.

Mr. John Chobba, Principal Information and Publicity Officer, VRA, emphasised the organisation’s commitment to empowering young minds.

He noted that the Employee Volunteer Program brings together experienced VRA staff to share their professional experiences and provide mentorship.

The Assistant headmistress of Sogakope Senior High School, Madam Alice Tanyedzi, expressed her profound appreciation to VRA and how impactful the sessions will be to the students

Some of the beneficiary students expressed their appreciation to VRA and how impactful the program will be to their lives.
