Manso Adubia NPP Chairman Questions 24-Hour Economy Market Project, Criticizes Government Performance.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Manso Adubia, Mr. Kofi Acheampong, has raised concerns about the government’s decision to construct a 24-hour economy market in the area.

According to Mr. Acheampong, he received an invitation from the District Chief Executive (DCE) to attend a sod-cutting ceremony for the proposed market project.

He said he found the initiative surprising, questioning its relevance and potential benefits to the local community.

Mr. Acheampong further expressed concerns about social challenges in some mining communities within the area, alleging that the presence of foreign prostitutes has become a growing issue.

He questioned whether the proposed market would attract sufficient economic activity during nighttime hours and suggested that authorities should focus on addressing pressing community concerns.

Additionally, Mr. Acheampong criticized the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), stating that since returning to power, the party has not delivered significant achievements.

He claimed that the government’s most visible action has been the arrest of individuals, arguing that it has failed to meet public expectations in other areas of governance.

End.
