The gesture aims to bolster support for mothers navigating the immediate postpartum period.
The Firm Foundation, drawing strength and resources from various church communities, has extended an appeal to the public for greater involvement in supporting individuals in hospitals, particularly new mothers.
Their recent contribution to Saltpod Maternity Hospital included essential items such as bedsheets, diapers, T-rolls, detergents, and soaps, which were gratefully received by 20 mothers.
During an interview with Douglas Oyiboh Amponsah, a reporter for Angel TV, Prophetess Henrietta Bainin, the President of the Firm Foundation and a key figure in the Jesus Loves Me Women’s Summit, emphasized the profound physical and emotional journey women undertake during childbirth.
Drawing from her own experience of labor pains, Prophetess Bainin expressed profound gratitude for her safe delivery.
This personal conviction fuels her commitment to actively engage with churches across the Central Region to build a robust foundation dedicated to assisting women facing diverse adversities.

Specifically, she mentions that during rainy seasons, the maternity hall and delivery beds become wet, forcing patients to sleep on the floor, which is detrimental to their health.
The hospital is appealing for immediate assistance from individuals, NGOs, the government, and philanthropists to address these critical needs.
In addition to equipment and structural improvements, Madam Tekyei also points out a shortage of nurses, urging the government to provide comprehensive support.
