Family Heads Urged To Promote Peace And Unity To Foster Community Developments.

Family heads have been urged to play their roles effectively in promoting peace and unity to accelerate development in their communities.

Speaking at the unveiling of new family head of the Anona Yoko Family at Gomoa Dabanyi, the Omankrado of Gomoa Dabanyi and Odikro of Kwame Adwer, Nana Essel Acquah I, emphasized the important role family heads play in maintaining harmony and fostering development.

He called on the people of Gomoa Dabanyi and members of the Anona Yoko Family to support the newly installed family head to ensure that peace and unity prevail within the family and the community.

According to him, Rev. Stephen Entsie has been duly recognized as the new head of the Yoko Family following the passing of the late Ebusuapanyin in 2022, and all the necessary traditional rites have been performed.

Meanwhile, the Queen Mother of the Anona Yoko Family, Nana Akosua Otoaba, urged the new Ebusuapanyin to emulate and continue the good works of his predecessor in order to promote peace and development in Gomoa Dabanyi.

In his acceptance remarks, the newly installed Ebusuapanyin of the Anona Yoko Family, Rev. Stephen Entsie, appealed to family members and the people of Gomoa Dabanyi to give him the same support they offered his predecessor to enable him to serve effected.
