LPG Leader Urges Govt To Allow Innovative Ideas, Criticizes NDC Appointments.

The Leader and Founder of the Liberal Party of Ghana, LPG, Mr. Percival Kofi Akpaloo, has urged government to allow citizens to bring forward innovative ideas, saying Ghanaians will reward any government that improves their living conditions.
According to him, government must understand that Ghanaians cannot be taken for granted. What they need are good policies that will benefit their lives, create jobs, and put money in their pockets.
“Government should have in mind that Ghanaians can’t be taken for granted. All they need are good policies to benefit their lives, money in the country and job opportunities.
Because if you fail them during elections, they will vote against you,” he stated.
Mr. Akpaloo alleged that many citizens are afraid to speak out because the NDC government allegedly calls for the arrest of critics.
“Everyone doesn’t want to talk because when you talk, the NDC government calls for your arrest.
But when it’s time for election, they will vote against you. So the NDC government should bring more innovative ideas on board to improve the lives of Ghanaians,” he said.
The LPG leader further alleged that most of the people appointed as MMDCEs are party faithful who know nothing about governance, but have been given such opportunities.
He claimed some of them do not even deserve to be in those positions.
He cited an example where someone has been given a position at NADMO “meanwhile the person knows nothing about disaster management.”
“That thing is pulling us back as a nation.
The NDC did not choose the requisite individuals but rather party faithful, and they have been given big positions but can’t manage them,” Mr. Akpaloo alleged.
He called on government to prioritize competence and expertise over party loyalty in appointments to ensure effective governance and development.
